David White Bull, Business Success Coach with Lakota Funds, for three years has been assisting aspiring Oglala Lakota entrepreneurs with cash flows, business plans, and loan applications. He also manages the Individual Development Accounts (IDA) program where Lakota Funds provides $2 for every $1 the qualified individual saves. The savings can be used for starting a business, buying a home, or attending undergraduate school. Lastly, David also actively helps Lakota artists work towards entrepreneurship by assisting with marketing and promoting their work.

David graduated from Oglala Lakota College in 2008 where he received his Bachelors in Social Work. David is also a certified Economic Development Finance Professional and certified Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) preparer. He has a strong desire to teach and is certified in Core Four Business Planning, Building Native Communities (Financial Literacy) and Path Ways, A Native Homeownership curriculum.

Prior to joining Lakota Funds, David worked in the drug and alcohol field on the Pine Ridge Reservation where he understands the needs of the people. David is an enrolled member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe, and has worked on reservations in several other states and has established good relationships with the people, where his goal is always to create an entrepreneurial culture.
