Shaina Clifford is an enrolled member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe, and was born and raised on the Pine Ridge Reservation in Rockyford, South Dakota. Inspired by the breathtaking scenery of the Badlands near her home, she wanted to capture all its beauty. Shaina purchased her first camera in 2010 with a small business loan from Lakota Funds and has since developed her skill set as an accomplished freelance photographer.
In 2014 Shaina upgraded her camera and took her photography to the next level. She was motivated by her busy schedule with her three beautiful children, full-time status as a college student, and a full calendar booked with salon clients. Shaina now operates and owns her own traveling studio; Shootin Starz Photography. Her studio specializes in wedding, family, senior, and live action sports portraits. She enjoys the freedom of running her own business and the opportunities in booking with high end fashion lines such as the Sparkling Spur and the Bombshell Boutique. In the future she hopes to expand her demographic both physically and mentally focusing on bringing her creative eye and capturing all those beautiful moments you may have missed.
