Elsie Meeks resigned from the Board effective the July 20, 2009 meeting when she knew she would be appointed as USDA Director of Rural Development for the state of South Dakota. Elsie had been with Lakota Funds from the very beginning.
Faith Two Eagle resigned October 6, 2008 after twenty-one years of service on the Board of Directors. Faith currently serves as the Executive Director of the Oglala Sioux Tribe. The Board and staff give her a big thank you for all the support over the years.
